A keen-eyed dive guide
Dive guide and diving instructor Komang Lara was born in Pemuteran and he still lives there. Komang is keen-eyed and you won't believe what he is able to find.
Beside our main office in Jimbaran we run a small dive center in Pemuteran with filling station. You can use it to maintain your own equipment.
Menjangan and surrounding area
The dive spots at Nusa Menjangan have names like Pos I, Mangrove, Cave Wall, Cave Point, Pos II, Bat Cave, Temple Wall, Coral Garden, Sandy Slope, Turtle Wall, Ancor Reef, Eel Garden, Teluk Telur(special) and Half Way Wall. Komang knows them very well. Next to Pulau Menjangan there a some more nice dive spots like Secret Bay, Puri Jati and Pemuteran.
The island is part of the natural reserve West Bali, a protected area of 780 km2. In the beginning only the island was protectet due to white-tailed eagles. At the end of the 60s Indonesia extendet the natural reserve to the underwater scenery.
Menjangan has a size of 170 hectare (1,700,000 square metres). On the island lives a herd of deer and a goat but people say the goat made off. Below the surface you will encounter breathtaking rugged walls and grottoes. The growth is a mixture of hard- and soft corals, sea fans are everywhere in all colors and shapes. And yes, fishes are omnipresent :-).
Breakfast and here we go
If you travel on your own you still can book diving with Scuba Libre Bali of course. But if you wish we can also book a hotel in this area and organize a transportation for you. We recommend Adi Asi Hotel because of their cost-benefit ratio.
Your dive excursion will start at 08:30 in the morning at your hotel. Usually we dive twice a day, a third dive is possible. The pick-up time for Puri Jati and Secret Bay can vary because diving here is depending on tides.

The standard rooms in Tirta Sari Hotel are equipped with hot water shower and air condition. Deluxe rooms are available, extra charge is 15,00 Euro per person and night
A complete set rental equipment is 10,00 Euro a day
For a night dive we charge additional 25,00 Euro
* Pulau Menjangan: The entry fee to the National Park Menjangan is 200.000 IDR (~12,00 Euro) at the moment per day and person. It will be charged extra.
