Information about our Hotel / Resort in Tulamben
Joe, the owner of Joe's Diving Bali, has build a little oasis (diving castle) into the north of Bali. Within three years construction time the hotel consists of five accommodation units with open bath, a restaurant, a diving school, a pool and a garden laid out very neatly. There is a round table for 12 persons in our restaurant because our philosophy is: The life makes more fun together.
In our restaurant you can select between Indonesian and European cooking. The courts are always prepared freshly. Our manager Made and his team will design your stay for you even more pleasant by delicious dishes. If you want something to drink, you simply pick it up at the refrigerator yourselve and write it down on a list. But our service team is there for you of course in case you want fruit juice, coffee or tea.
Since February Joe and Herbie work as team together. One of them will always be in the hotel during your stay so that english-speaking support is ensured.
If you are experienced enough we preserve a check dive with you at all divesites. After this you can go diving without guide. But a guide is always ready in case you prefer a guided dive.
The bay of Tulamben is suitable for many dives. At the US Liberty you easely make six dives without getting boared. Coral Garden is very shallow, 3 -9 meters, and perfect to get alone on the way.
Drop Off is a very beautiful with corasl overgrown steep wall, which falls down to 65 meters.
In Tulamben you start your dives from the beach. So you aren't bound to any time schedules.
If you want to dive other dive sites we'll charge only the current boat price which is round about ten Euro for a buddy team with guide.
Beside diving we're also organize day excursions for you. A sightseeing tour to some of Balis objects of interest is actualy a must at your first visit.
Or spend a day on our deck chairs and enjoy the sun.
