Padi dive courses - description

Note: 10-11 years old divers are only allowed to dive with parents, guardian or Padi Professionals. Max. depth is 12 m.
12-14 years old divers must be accompanied by a certified adult. Max. depth is 18 m, Adventure Diver or higher 21 m.

Padi Bubblemaker (8 or 9 years old)
One instructor per participant. Max. depth is 2 meters. Location: Coral Garden Tulamben. No certificate.

Padi Discover Scuba Diving (min. age 10 years)
The PADI Discover Scuba Diving program is designed to permit individuals to experience scuba diving under direct instructor supervision in ideal conditions. The introduction consists of a short academic session, one pool/confined water dive to develop a few water skills and one open water dive to a depth of max. 12 meters.

Padi (Junior) Scuba Diver (min. age 10 years)
Limitations: Scuba Divers are only allowed to dive with a Padi Professional. Max. depth is 12 m. Contents: 3 academic sessions, 3 pool dives and 2 open water dives. Duration 2-3 days.

Padi (Junior) Open Water Diver (min. age 10 years)
5 academic sessions with written final exam, 5 pool dives and 4 open water dives. Duration 3-4 days.

Padi (Junior) Adventure Diver (min. age 12 years)
Requirements: Be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver or have an equivalent rating. Contents: 3 short academic sessions without written exam and 3 open water training dives (e.g. night, boat or drift). Duration 1-2 days.

Padi (Junior) Advanced Open Water Diver (min. age 12 years)
Requirements: Be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver or have an equivalent rating. Contents: 5 short academic sessions without written exam, two core dives (underwater navigation and deep diving), three dives are considered electives (e.g. night, boat or drift). Duration 2 days.

Padi (Junior) Rescue Diver (min. age 12 years)
Requirements: Be certified as a PADI AOWD or an equivalent rating and a minimum of 20 logged dives documenting experience in deep diving and u/w navigation. Have completed a sanctioned course in CPR within the past two years. Contents: 5 academic sessions with written final exam, 5 open water training sessions. Duration 2-3 days.

Padi Divemaster (min. age 18 years)
Requirements: Be certified as a PADI AOWD and Padi Rescue Diver or have an equivalent ratings. Submit a proof of CPR and first aid training within the past 24 months. Have completed and logged at least 20 dives as documented by your personal log book. Note: Proof of 60 dives is a certification requirement. Submit, to the instructor, medical clearance for diving signed by a physician, attesting to fitness to dive. The medical clearance must be current within the previous 12 months. Duration min. 10 days.

Padi Assistant Instructor (min. age 18 years)
Requirements: Be certified as a PADI Divemaster or have an equivalent rating and proof of 60 or more logged dives documenting experience in deep diving, night diving and underwater navigation. Submit, to the instructor, medical clearance for diving signed by a physician, attesting to fitness to dive. The medical clearance must be current within the previous 12 months. Duration min. 5 days.

Padi Medic First Aid
Requirements: none. Contents: General training in first aid and CPR. Duration 1 day.

Padi specialties
Duration 1-2 days, up to 4 training dives (depends on the course). We teach: Nitrox, deep, navigation, night, naturalist, boat, photography, search and recovery, drift, equipment specialist.
